Athena1 is an open-source graphical user interface that performs automated sequence design of wireframe scaffolded 2D and 3D DNA origami. As input, Athena uses a geometric design file in the PLY file format with all vertices defined. Athena can implement wireframe designs with double-helix or 6HB edges with constant or variable edge lengths. Athena's output designs are compatible with CadNano for further design customizability or oxDNA for in silico characterization.
